Salem Cusick '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Salem Cusick. I am a 6'5" 310 pound junior this year at Wichita Collegiate High School, a private college prep school in Wichita, Kansas. I have played football for the past 7 years and love the game. Our team was undefeated last year and won the 3A state championship. My freshman and sophmore years I played primarily defensive line with some time on the offensive line. This year I have been moved to center and will play some defense as well. I really enjoy working in the weight room and have seen the benifits of the work in my increased strength over the last two years(315 bench and 405 squat). I am a very coachable player and am a very quick learner. I think one of my stongest qualities is my ability to pick up new movements quickly and retain and apply the information coaches give me. I love playing football and hope to continue playing through my college years and possibly beyond.
