Personal Statement
Although I have a deep passion for football, I'm not only looking for a college with a football program, I'm looking for a college that will provide me a good quality education as well. I would like a college that would be able to set me up for my career in my adult life once school is over by getting me a head start into my decision in my career choice. The type of college I want to go to will be one that makes me assert myself on and off the field.
I would make for a good candidate for any team due to my ability to adapt to different formations and blitzes, assertiveness of high energy to every play, and leadership on the field and in the classroom. I will never give up on a play even if it is not my responsibility. Therefore, I will take matters in my own and finish the play defensively in an aggressive manor even if it is across the field. On offense, at running back, I am able to not only assert my speed to turn the corner and head up the side line, but also turn up field, tuck the ball, and lower my shoulder to fight for those three to four yards that would have been loss or never gained. These traits are what separate me from other running backs/players in the game of football. They also position me as the role I willingly take, the leader! However, in the classroom is where I truly prevail. I am able to grasp complex subjects and principles that others may not comprehend because of the honor and AP classes I have taken. I also take the role as a leader into the classroom too, by helping those who may be struggling. To conclude this all, football is one of the main factors that have shaped my character by making me intelligent, determined, dedicated, caring, honest, and hard-working.
I want to graduate from college in my area of study with with honors . I will be the first of all the children who will graduate from college. If I have the ability to go pro in Football that will be a plus as well. I can be a positive example to other peers, with GOD,hard work and dedication anything is possible
