Personal Statement
I am a very dedicated player/student. I take a lot of pride in my work ethic and I put great importance on peak performance on the field and in the class room. It's been a goal of mine to be a collegiate football player since I started playing junior league at age 5, and I won't rest until that goal is achieved. I am a team leader both on and off the field, in my school, in my community, and in my church.
Football has always been my first love. Ever since I was a kid, I found a happiness in football. I love being part of a team, scoring touchdowns, making big plays offensively and defensively, making tackles, and blocking. To sum it up, I love every aspect of the game. Every Saturday, since I was small, I would wake up and watch College Gameday, and be in awe of the players and the games that took place. I wanted to play college football and join that amazing atmosphere. In the past 20 years, there have only been two players from my high school to go Division 1. Sadly, success is not a norm. My goal? To play college football. I want to show the kids that look up to me and my community that someone from Knox Central can be successful in football, and be a ray of hope for future players in years to come.
