Personal Statement

I want to establish myself as the leader of my football team, like I did on the basketball team as the captain and team MVP. My goals are to become the best wide receiver and linebacker in the country, keep my good grades, and to follow in both my mom, dad, and uncle's footsteps. My dad was a Parade Consensus All American, and lettered 4 years at offensive tackle/guard at Notre Dame, and played professionally with the Cleveland Browns. My Mom lettered 4 years at point guard for the Notre Dame's Women's Basketball team. My uncle Mark Askin started 4 years in football at offensive tackle for the University of Kentucky. My uncle Keith Askin started 4 years in football at Murray State and my uncle Jeff Norton played hockey for the University of Michigan along with the Olympic team and 15 years pro. As you can see I have a lot to live up to. I'm fast and I'm tough and I will out work anyone. I dream of playing and graduating from a division one university, and making it to the NFL. Hopefully, through hard work, prayer, studies, and learning from my family members and Coach Billy Martin I can achieve my goal.
