Jack Daly '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is John Michael "Jack" Daly. I am 6'0 tall and weigh 205lbs. I attend Saint Xavier High School in Louisville, Kentucky, which is one of the top programs in the country both athletically and academically. I am an Honors student with a 3.40 GPA (unweighted) and have been on the honor roll both Sophomore and Junior year. As a freshman I started on the freshman football team at outside linebacker, at Saint Xavier it is mandatory that freshman play on our freshman team. My sophomore year I dressed for the games and had limited reps. My junior year I started on special teams and at weak side inside linebacker in a 34 defense. I had over 50 tackles this season, 20 solo tackles and 2 sacks. I had two fumble recoveries and forced two fumbles.

Football is my passion. I love it more than anything besides my family and God. I will do anything and everything to continue to play as long as I can and at the highest level of competition that I can. Even when my days are playing are done I want a career that will keep me around my passion. My teammates are my brothers and I love the bond I have with them. I love the whole concept of team and how football is such a great team sport. I push my teammates to go as hard as they possibly can every practice, lift, and game. I love this game so much and I'm very grateful I get to play it and have a chance to play at the next level.
