Daniel James '15 Recruiting Profile

I am passionate about the game of football. I know this journey will not last forever, but I plan to enjoy every moment of it, taking in all the knowledge and wisdom that I can absorb from this experience. I plan to use the game as a platform to help me to develop my pay-it-forward gifts and to attend an institution of higher learning that will help me to develop into a global difference-­maker.

My parents taught me that I was skillfully and wonderfully made by GOD. In order for me to learn how to live life skillfully, I plan to attend the university that best fits my intellectual and spiritual needs. During my tenure I plan to give back to the university that helps me to develop to this end by working to serve as its benchmark for scholar ­athletic success. I excel in verbal and written communication and am currently enrolled in the gifted program at McKinley Magnet High School in Baton Rouge. I maintain a 4.1 GPA and recently scored a 29 on my ACT. Having been raised in southern Louisiana I believe that I have the capacity to make a unique contribution to the rich football tradition and academic legacy of any institution. I have at my disposal a great support system in my family, teachers and coaching staff and this is the rationale for possessing skills that are easily transferable to the collegiate level.

I am accomplished, motivated, and a progressive professional well­ versed in all aspects of leadership within the realm of football. I am committed to success whether it is helping my university to win championships or as a global ambassador of good will. I am looking forward to an opportunity to serve my university and to diligently work to become one of the best scholar­-athletes in NCAA history!
