Coach what a fantastic 2014 regular football season. I had great summer work outs, played 7 on 7 and attended over 7 college camps. I had over 1000 yards rushing, 1500 all purpose yards in 11 games including 12 touchdowns. We finished our season 9-2. Check out my senior highlights and watch the speed, vision, elusiveness, agility, catches and play on the ball.
I was featured in NUS Sports July issue (http://www.nucsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=23100&ATCLID=209600506). "If there is one thing you can't teach, it's speed.-And St. Michael (LA) athlete Matthew Butler has plenty. Sure, plenty of prospects claim they have elite level speed and run 4.3 forties. But Butler's speed is legitimate. At last year's NUC - Baton Rouge, Butler blazed past the competition and was named the camp's fastest man." I was also named Defensive MVP at NUC Duncanville competition in Texas that year.
I am featured in the Tom Lemming's 2014 Football Report. I have also received a personal invite to participate in the 13th Annual U.S. Army Red Stick Bowl Football All-Star Game set for December 21st and the 11th Annual 2015 International All-American Bowl Classic in Panama City, Florida on January 4th.
I will be participating in 2 other sports this year which include baseball and track. I am doing great in school with my academic achievements while maintaining a 2.5 GPA and an ACT composite score of 21. I am a member of my church youth group and voted by my classmates to represent our Class on the 2014 Homecoming Court.
I would like to attend a college or university where I can obtain a degree in engineering or business management and have the option to pursue an advance degree or attend law school. Furthermore I would love the opportunity to play football at a Division I school. The goal in mind is to meet other student athletes with common aspirations to succeed and hopefully have the opportunity to compete for a national championship.
