Personal Statement
My goal in life is to attend college and major in Athletic Training and play football at the next level. I love the game football but the most important thing is an education. I want to be successful in life an one day come back to my community to make a difference in the children lives in the area. I am a active DARE role model, Big Brother program and a LINK crew member for the new freshman entering high school. I am also a member of the Beta club, a three year member of FFA. I am not only active in school I am active within my community. I attend Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church where I am a usher and participate in the youth program. I assist with Keagan Kitchen a center that tutors and mentor the youth in the community and feed the senior citizens in the community. I ended my junior football season with 2,679 yards and 32tds. In football I have played several position such as RB,DB,safety,cornerback,wide receiver, on special teams. I average 215.6 yards a game and 8.34 yards a carry. I feel like I could be an asset to a college team because I have the ability and speed to be able to break away, and once defenders make contact with me I keep pushing forward for that extra footage.I competed In the 2014 Nike Sparq Combine in Houston Texas.
I have been sports player of the week for the month of October and nominated three weeks in a row. I have had the honors of having a full page sports article written on me. I have been a leader and team captain for my team as a junior. I have held the single game leading rusher for the season with a game of 331 yards and a record with 462 yards. My goal is to get 3500 yards my senior year and with hard work and dedication I can accomplish that goal. I also participate in Basketball and Track. My sophomore year my relay placed third in the 4x4 relays at the state meet in Baton Rouge. I won district in the 4x1 and 4x2. I feel as if I am a all around athlete with my speed and ability I feel I can play at the next level of college football. I have attend several college football camps like McNeese, LSU, LaTech, NUC combine with David Schuman, retired Raiders Willie Brown football camp. It was a great learning experience for me to attend those camps. I was name All Sate, MVP for offense, All Southwest la., All Parish offense and defense, All District offense and defense.
