Personal Statement
My desire to achieve the opportunity of playing college football and have a chance of progressing on to the professional level. Then there must be some backups to that goal and mine is to earn a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering. Being a hard worker on and off the football field as well as the classroom is what I've always been taught and will always be my motto. Ever since I was six years old, I've played football and always wanted to play college football. My name is Christian Bailey, I'm 17 years old as of September 18th and I am a student athlete from Laplace, Louisiana. I may not have credentials yet, but I am constantly working hard behind the scenes everyday. One thing about me is that I am a perfectionist, and even though I may get something wrong the first time I will work my hardest to not make the same failure. I was ineligible to play high school football my junior year unfortunately because of my transfer of different schools after my home was flooded by Hurricane Issac. I was not a starter my freshman year and only played about three games my sophomore year, then benched because of my undersize as a 5'8" 190 pound left tackle. I still hold myself accountable to getting better no matter what, so now I am a currently 210 pound linebacker. I brought down my average at a 4.65 40yard dash and I constantly study the game of football.
