My collegiate goals are to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business (B.A.), to make the Dean’s list, and to keep my grade point average (GPA) above 3.0. My plans for achieving this goal are, to study hard; complete my assignments on time, take advantage of every resource available to me, and to surround myself with positive people. My collegiate aspirations are to complete my college education; with dignity, to be an outstanding student and athlete. The attributes that make me a good candidate for any college football program are I am coachable, I follow orders exceptionally well, I am well mannered, I respect others thoughts and ideas, and I have respect for authority. The difference between me and other recruits, with regards to character, athletics, and academics is character ( having a good repute) has been drilled in me from a child by my father and mother.
Over the past years, my parents have taught me, to think for myself and to treat others with respect. Athletics has its respective place in my life; God, family, academics, then athletics. I am a very competitive person; who happens to love football, however; I realize athletics is a privilege that has to be earned. The only way I know to earn this privilege, is to commit myself to my academics; starting now. I cannot wait until my senior year; to prepare for this privilege (college and athletics). Academics is first in my life because obtaining a good academic report is the key to achieving my goals and aspirations, and hopes of taking my skills to the next level and to play in the NFL with the greats.
