Jaleel Goodwin '19 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was a young boy, I have dreamed of being successful and playing in either the NFL or NBA. This is what keeps me motivated to succeed academically. I strive to be the best. I am currently a Senior at St Louis Catholic High School. I have been in an accelerated program since the 6th grade called TELC. I aspire to use my talents as well as academics to move me forward in life. I pride myself on being a good person and a leader. I have always been told by every coach that I have played for that I am a coachable young man and I strive to continue being just that.I have been named Athlete of the Year for the 2014-2015 school year. I have been on varsity since my Freshmen year. This year I am one if the team captains. I have a strong mindset to study and work hard at perfecting my craft. My goal is to earn both an academic and athletic scholarship to a good college that recognizes my talents and abilities. My daily hope is that coaches see not only my academics and athletic abilities, but also my character. I was chosen as 2nd Team All District.  What separates me from other recruits is my belief in God which is my foundation for who I am and who I plan to become. I only pray that I get the opportunity to play at the next level.
