Matt Nichols '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6' 4 1/2" 305 lb. offensive lineman from Vinton, LA.  and will graduate in the 2012 class.  I have been on the varsity team for 4 years and look forward to my upcoming senior year.

I am looking for the opportunity to pursue my degree in wildlife/environmental management while living my dream to play football at the college level.  I work hard to improve by training year round with a local former collegiate football player in addition to my regular high school work outs.  We have non-mandatory work outs in the summer  that I rarely miss.  I am open to exploring larger schools but prefer smaller enrollments any where in the country but prefer close to home.  Financial assistance is important to me in the college selection process in order to help defer expenses for my family.  Ideally I would like to be in a program where I could contribute to my team as early as possible at any division level.
