I am Aidan McGlone, a football player. But I am much more. I am a student of Bonny Eagle High School (Class of 2019); a member of National Honors Society since Sophomore year; a two-time scholar athlete; a mathlete; a Special Olympic Volunteer; and a partner for the unified basketball team. All of these things are important to me.
Academics has always been my first priority, but athletics, and the time management that comes with it, have been a big part of my academic accomplishments. Ideally, I would like to get into an engineering program at a good school where I can also play football.
Football has taught me how to work with other people as a team, discipline, problem solving skills, overcoming adversity, and how to learn from my mistakes. Football has also taught me how to be more of a leader; especially once I became part of the leadership committee. I would really like to continue to play football through my college years to help me manage my academic time better.
