Personal Statement
As I enter my senior year and reflect on my high school achievements, I also consider my collegiate goals. After earning my bachelor’s degree in accounting, I plan to further my education with a master’s degree in forensic accounting. In addition to academics, participation on a football team is something I hope to include as part of my collegiate experience. I know the value of the comradery, sense of family, and dedication that comes from being a part of a team, and as a hardworking and dedicated student-athlete, I would be an asset to a collegiate football family. I love new challenges and find the hardest parts of a journey to be the most motivating and rewarding; there is nothing better than the sense of satisfaction that comes at the end of a long, hard road. I am constantly working to improve myself as an athlete by working out seven days a week and training with a personal trainer three days a week. While other recruits may also be hard workers, I stand out from others because I not only work hard for myself but for others. I am always willing to lend a hand to teammates, friends, and even people I do not know personally; no one ever doubts my commitment to my team. In addition to working hard on the field and in the gym, I also work hard in the classroom. I have maintained a good GPA while participating in sports and taking honors and AP classes. My intelligence in the classroom also translates to intelligence on the field as I also continuously work to improve my knowledge of the game, my opponents, and other mental aspects of the game.
I look forward to being a well-rounded and successful collegiate student-athlete by pursuing my interests in the classroom and my passion on the football field.
