Greetings! My name is Michael Zeleznik. I am very interested in pursuing my education along with playing College Football.
I have been playing organized tackle football since I was 7 years old. Of all the sports and activities I have participated in through the years, I have always found football the most satisfying and motivating. I have even coached as a youth assistant on a couple of my father’s youth teams since I have been in high school.
I was a full time starter on JV my freshman season and had an impactful year. I made Varsity as a sophomore. I endured hard lessons and struggled at times, but I endured and improved as the season progressed. Ultimately I started a total of 7 games with production improving as time went on. This past season; the school’s first playoff season in 11 years, I started every game and performed at a level I, and my coaches felt showed I can grow and succeed at the next level. Additionally, I am currently on the Varsity Basketball team and in my off seasons I work every day in our strength program at school and with private strength and position coaches.
I have a strong drive to win and am very competitive at most everything I do. I was taught early that on the field as in life, it is ok if we lose, but not ok to lose. I believe I have the work ethic, character and leadership abilities to make an immediate impact on your program!
