Personal Statement
Ever since I was a little baby I would always represent my favorite football team, growing up in a competitive household made me want to compete a lot more than other people. At the same time of trying to be a competitive person I also had to be a smart one, academics was always important to me and my family. I always wanted to make it better for my family trying to do the best I can in the classroom and on the field, I wanted my family to have a better life. I want to be able to thank my parents for everything they did for me and my brother while we was growing up. I would say the most influential moment in my life was when I was younger and my brother first got me into playing football. When he started teaching me and helping me learn about football it got me really interested in the sport and made me wanted to play it even more.
I learned that I can be a leader and someone you can talk to if you need help with anything while I have been playing football. My academic goals for school is to not only pass my classes but to ace them, academic is really important to me because that's my second option if everything doesn't go as expected. I would say one of my biggest obstacles was going through asthma at the time I didn't know how to control so it felt like it was holding me back from showing my full potential at the time but now I can show everything I got to everyone. Some unique characteristics I possess is honesty, responsibility, respectfulness, integrity, and courageousness. My goal is to provide for my family by playing something I love to do.
