Personal Statement
Ever since I was a kid, I have always had aspirations to play college football. I am a Junior in high school, but I understand that a person only has a limited number of football games in their lifetime, and I am hoping to continue to play the game I love in college. I would make a great addition to any college football team because of my strict work ethic and my understanding of the game. I am a very hard worker on and off the field, and I am very comfortable with the offensive playbook to the extent that when other offensive linemen have a question, I am one of the first people, if not the first person they approach for an answer. I always give it my all whether it be in school, in the weight room, or on the field. I am different from other recruits because I won't let anything hold me back. I will do whatever it takes to win and I want it to be noted that as a sophomore I broke my left hand in a football game and have had two surgeries since. Although the injury set me back as I was unable to participate in a part of the season and missed some winter weight lifting, I have bounced back stronger than ever. I put in extra time in the off season because I don't believe in excuses, and I believe it shows. As far as school goes, I have maintained high honors all through freshmen and sophomore year and still continue to push myself in the classroom, taking challenging courses. I am a hardworking and dedicated person, and I am committed to winning at all costs.
