Kavon Samuels '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to set the NCAA rushing record and win a National Championship. Also, I want to be recognized as the hardest working student in class and player on the field. I know with this mindset, I will be a strong leader on the field and win a Heisman trophy along the way. A good candidate for the team is one that will actively listen and participate on and off the field. The player must be willing to accept criticism and feedback to enhance skills. A good candidate must recognize that wins and losses are learning experiences and opportunities for growth. I am a team player and I enjoy supporting my peers on the field and in the classroom. In school and in the community, I am a leader. On numerous occasions, I have been able to motivate and lead my team to win some of the toughest football games. Additionally, I am a servant leader in my church. I assist the director of the children church with teaching my peers how to live a Christ-centered life. In academics, I engage in the extra studying necessary to achieve me academic goals while also maintaining my athletic skills on the playing field.
