Personal Statement

My name is Evan Smith and I am a 2015 graduate at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda. I started last year at Quarterback for the varsity team and played a part in achieving our best record (7-3) in 4 years. This year, unfortunately we did not meet expectations. We suffered from many major injuries to key players. Personally, I had a really successful season. I was voted captain by my teammates unanimously. Despite playing in only 8 games, I finished the season on the top quarterbacks list for Montgomery County. I am looking for an institution that offers first and foremost excellent academics.
