Personal Statement

“We ask Isaiah to do a lot of things for us,” Coach Jerry Franks said. “It seems like he’s on the field for almost every play. He can play wide receiver, return kicks and then he’s been playing an outstanding cornerback for us. We moved him from running back to wide receiver this year and he’s really adapted to that new role.”

GOD, FAMILY, SCHOOL, FOOTBALL.  This has been my priorities since I started playing football at the age of 5.  Since I can remember, I have played football and basketball.  I have a passion for these two sports.  But it's my goal to play collegiate football at the Division 1 level. Like many athletes, I dream of playing for a major university.  My parents have done a great job of taking me on unofficial visits to colleges in all divisions (I, II, III).  During these visits I come to understand that there is competitive football being played at all collegiate levels. It's my goal to play and receive my degree at one of these levels.

I'm a good candidate for any team because not only will I excel on the field but I will excel in the classroom.  I understand that the word STUDENT comes before ATHLETE.  Having a successful academic collegiate experience will lead to a successful career in whichever field I decide to pursue.

I have spent many hours volunteering with the Catholic Charities of America.  It's very important to be to serve my community.

Lastly, one of my strongest character traits is humility.  I believe being humble has endeared me to many coaches, teachers, and people in general.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
