Personal Statement
People describe me as highly motivated and intelligent. I have proven my exceptional drive by achieving a 4.0 GPA with an honors course load. I take athletics very seriously by working out every single day, regardless of whether or not there is a scheduled practice. Also, I achieved the rank of Eagle in Boy Scouts at the age of 14. Only 4% of Scouts ever reach this rank and the average age is 17 for those who do.
I am a quiet leader, choosing to lead by example. I not only work hard, I work smart. I'm organized and manage my time extremely effectively. I'm that kid that comes home and does my homework right after school, even when I have days to complete the assignment. I appreciate people who challenge me to be the best that I can be and seek out opportunities and environments that will provide that challenge. I strive for continuous self-improvement in all aspects of my life.
It is my goal to play football in college at a school that offers a top-notch educational opportunities. Academics take priority for me. However, I have proven my ability to balance sports and school while maintaining excellence in both venues.
