Skyler Nichols '16 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to both join a family and find the perfect school for me to thrive on the field and in the classroom.  Entering my junior year with a 3.95 GPA and a dream season at Battle Creek Lakeview where we broke records for yards and points and won 10 games straight on our way to the division 2 state playoffs...  I hunger for more and the new challenge of making this season special too.  In addition to grades, I am a leader on the field and a member of the national honor society.  I lead by example in the weight room as well.  As a dual threat veer option quarterback, I am blessed to use many of my physical skills, but what I am proudest of his my heart.  I have always been a winner and leading the team, making good reads, making good audibles at the line of scrimmage, allows me to enjoy the whole team see success.  I have learned over the years how great a team sport football is.  It's my passion.
