The 2011 football season was my first year actively kicking for varsity. It was a very successful season and I served as both the starting kicker and punter for my team. We were fortunate enough to have an extra kicker on the team, so coach allowed him to kick the PATs. As per MaxPreps.com, I led the State of Michigan in touchbacks for the class of 2013 until we were eliminated in the first round of playoffs.
In both kicking and punting. I employ a variety of kicks including regular kick offs, chip kick offs, onside kicks, rugby style punts, and regular punts as directed by coach. With my history of track and soccer, I welcome an opportunity to run a fake punt.

Scholastic achievements 2011 include KLAA Conference All Academic Student Athlete and High Honor Roll. I am involved in National Honor Society, Student Council, FCA, and was in Key Club for two years.
Leadership is not foreign to me. I have been captain of all of my soccer teams since age nine for club. Additionally, I was also team captain in high school soccer. I was fortunate enough to represent the State of Michigan on the U15 and U16 Olympic Development team as well.
A highlight of my 2011 kicking year was a successful onside kick with 20 seconds left. The team rallied down the field and I was given the chance to kick a 40-yard field goal to win the game against our rivals.
Regarding my academic future, I am seeking a school that will allow both athletic and academic advancement. I hope to utilize the tools learned through sports to persevere, adapt, adjust, and overcome with my primary endpoint goal of a solid degree for a future career. I am very open geographically as well as to the type of school settings as long as I have the opportunity to achieve my academic and sports related goals.
