Thank-You for looking at my profile,
My future aspirations include playing college football and obtaining a college degree. My parents are both former Division I college athletes playing in the Big Ten and MAC. I started playing contact football in 3rd grade, and have been coached my entire life to be an offensive lineman. I can play anywhere on the offensive line that I am needed to play in order for our team to be successful. I primarily have played center up until making my varsity team, and have been told by college coaches that I will play inside at the next level. Last year as the only starting sophomore on varsity, our offensive line was most successful with me playing tackle. This year I am the only returning starter on our offensive line. With a new head coach and a new offense, I will play any position on our line that helps us win games.
The greatest role models in my life are my parents. My parents often quote, "Do you want to be ordinary or do you want to be extraordinary?" This quote motivates me in every aspect of my life. In order to be an extraordinary athlete, student, or person you must set high standards for yourself and be willing to put forth the effort to achieve them, and/or live by them. You must work harder than the average, and lead others by the examples you set on and off the field. I work extremely hard year round to make improvements to my footwork, strength, speed, and flexibility. I am very proud to be a student at East Kentwood High School and have worked just as hard in the classroom to achieve my 3.90 GPA.
I look forward to the opportunity to play college football and I am open to playing anywhere in the country. In search of a program that will allow me to contribute to its team success, excel academically, and is as "excited about finding me as I am about finding them."
