Drew Casey '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Drew Casey and I have been a Varsity starter since my sophomore year at Lake Orion High School in Lake Orion, Michigan.  Lake Orion High School ranks 10th in enrollment among 760 schools in Michigan.  In 2013 I was awarded all-league honors in the OAA red division.  I am expected to have a very successful season in 2015 as I have greatly improved my size and strength over the past off-season and will implement these improvements on the field.  
Apart from football, I also excel in the classroom.  I have prioritized my scholastic development and maintained a 4.1 GPA throughout my high school career.  I push myself to take academically strenuous classes which include many AP and honors courses.  These classes have accelerated my learning and advanced my knowledge beyond typical classes for my grade level.  I earned a 32 on my ACT which demonstrates the benefits of my hard work and tendency to take more difficult classes.
My goal is to attend a school where I will receive a very high quality education and be afforded the opportunity to play a high level of football.  I believe that due to my past achievements and my qualities as a coachable and hard working student athlete, I would be a great addition to any program.
