Personal Statement

I aspire to become a collegiate football player followed by a career in criminal justice or personal finance.  My dream is to go on playing football for as long as I can and to pursue an education I can use when my football days are over. I have always loved the game and hope to continue striving to be the best I can be in the sport I love to play.

  • Michigan Elite Football Club is the premier 7on7 travel football organization based in Metro Detroit. The club was formed in 2009 by George Yarberry, Ron Rice and Mill Coleman to help build the brand of football in Michigan by having a strong competitive off-season development program. The club features some of the top high school talent in Michigan, and participates in local and national 7on7 tournaments. The players that participate in our program learn a tremendous amount of information about the game from former NFL players on our coaching staff. They also get a lot of exposure from college coaches to help improve their recruiting position. They will also learn the importance of doing well in school and being a positive role model off the field. The Michigan Elite Football Club has had a lot of success since it started a few years ago. Here is a list of accomplishments: 2009 NFL Michigan State 7on7 Champions 1st Place (Ferndale, MI) 2011 Regional 7on7 Champions 1st Place (Pittsburgh, PA) 2011 National Championship 5th Place (Dallas,TX) 2012 Southeast Regional 5th Place (Atlanta, GA) 2012 Regional 7on7 Championship 2nd Place (Pittsburgh, PA) 2012 National Championship 2nd Place (Brooklyn, NY) 2013 Qualified for the IMG National 7v7 Championship (Bradenton, FL)
