Personal Statement
I am hard working and self-motivated individual. I appreciate a challenge and strive for continuous improvement in my abilities both academically and athletically. As a teammate, I challenge my peers to raise the bar every practice. I put the same effort into every practice as I do for game day. As a freshman and JV captain, I led by example in both work ethic and attitude. Our team motto in 2014 was “Unum – As One” and it truly expresses the sport of Football. You are only as strong and successful as your team. I have played both offensively as a running back and defensively as an inside linebacker. I focus on what my coach’s share with me and strive to excel in whichever position I am given. My parents have modeled for me a strong work ethic, along with a desire to be a man of character, to be honest, and to choose integrity at all cost. I have been raised with traditional values and am a loyal and dedicated athlete on and off the field. I run sprints during track season and participate in a weightlifting program during the off season. I also take time to serve in my community by volunteering twice a month at our local food pantry as well as teaching a children’s Sunday school class every Sunday. I am eager to play football at the next level and hope that you will consider me as your next recruit.
