Football is more than just a sport. It has shaped who I am as a person. It has taught me how to work hard, take responsibility, and respect others. Being pulled up to play at the Varsity level, as a sophomore in 2013, made me think about what the coaches saw in me. It made me a more confident player after I was asked to move up, and it was a great experience. I take my education just as seriously as I do playing football. I perform just as well in the classroom as I do on the field. I work hard in the off-season to prepare myself for the next season. I am also a Christian, which has been a part of my life since I was little and has given me higher morals to live by. I have a goal for my senior year, and that is to become one of the captains of the team. In order to reach this goal I will definitely need to be a leader, and most importantly a team player. I would like to play football professionally, that is my dream. I know it is important to get a good education, and therefore I would like to attend a college where I can get a degree in pre-medicine while playing football. Eventually, I would like to work in a career some day that allows me to help others.
