Joseph Kline '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Joseph Kline. My dream is to one day play college football for a program that is rich in culture and tradition. 

I am a hardworking individual who loves the game of football and was unfortunately denied the opportunity to have 4 years of eligibility at my previous university.

I graduated from Western Michigan University and was unable to tryout for the football program my junior or senior year due to COVID and being forced to remote classes. I was also unable to walk the stage for graduation because of COVID.

My path has not been traditional in the sense that COVID-19 took away 2 years of my college eligibility and opportunities to play college football. 

I also received my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, a field in which I no longer find suitable for a career pathway.

I am now looking for a fresh start and an opportunity to pursue a new degree in a different profession, while also pursuing my dream of playing college football and getting back those 2 years of eligibility that were taken from me.

I will be petitioning the NCAA for those 2 years that were taken from me and will pursue a new degree at a new school.

I am excited for the fresh start and am more ready than ever to play college football! I’ve added tremendous size, strength, and muscle, making me a dangerous football player who was recruited by Division 1 schools as it was in high school. Unfortunately size prevented offers but size is now no longer an issue.
