Personal Statement
I have always been taught to live my life with honesty and integrity. I grew up in a family of four boys. Sports have been our lives. My parents have always instilled in me that if I start something I finish it. Whatever I do, do it to my best ability. I have applied these concepts to all areas of my life. I build relationships based on effort and what it takes to be a person with integrity. I am a 6'4" 210-pound Junior-student athlete from Dowagiac, Michigan, with a 3.73 GPA.
I started playing football when I was seven years old. My family loves football and all the excitement of the game, lead me to love the game. I learned young that commitment to the game was critical to my success. I would hit the tread mill every Friday night to make sure I was at the correct weight to run the ball. My team depended on me to do my part, I would not let them down. I learned the value of team work, dedication, and hard work. This has continued to build my character, of being the best person I can be. I am versatile and driven, always working for the betterment of the team, that’s what makes me a great player.
I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I am interested in pursuing an education in Business. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. I am a two sport All-State Academic Student Athlete. I know I have what it takes to be a leader on the team.
