Personal Statement
Fire Up! Hi, my name is Carter DeGraaf and I recently transferred my Junior year and play football at Hudsonville High School. Prior to Hudsonville, I attended Center Grove High School and competed in the MIC Conference, the largest conference in Indiana. Upon joining the Hudsonville team, I made an immediate impact, not only as a player, but also as a leader. I love playing on the line and primarily play left offensive tackle, but I am willing and able to play anywhere on the line or wherever needed. I am considering studying engineering, business or law. I rank 175th out of 462, and I have a 3.684 GPA. I am a leader in the classroom as well with great feedback from my teachers on my participation and positive influence on others. My coach always commends me and ensures college coaches know that I am very coachable, willing to learn and ready to execute with full force. I love the grind in the trenches and fighting for my team and opening the holes for the backs or pass protecting for the QB; and I always look forward to the pancake!
