Kyle Kerley '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kyle Kerley. I am 6'5 and 260 pounds. I am a well rounded athlete and student.  I play sports year round which include football, basketball and track.  I have also been part of the baseball and wrestling teams.  I have participated in my school tackle football program since I was in the second grade.  The main positions that I play are defensive end, fullback, offensive guard and am a punter. I have also played several other positions.  I have taken one on one lessons from a professional kicking coach to enhance my kicking abilities.  My Freshman year I was a part of the football, basketball and track varsity teams.  Unfortunately my school chose not to have a varsity football team my sophomore year due to low upper classman participation.  As a result I had to play on the JV team which I was a starter on both offense and defense and was a team captain. 

I have always strived to be the top student in my class.  Currently I am maintaining a 3.9 GPA and am ranked #2 in my class. I am dedicated to preparing my self to attend college and participate in both athletic and academic activities. 

I am working hard to ensure that I am able to play college football.  I would like to attend a college where football is important and where I can participate in an academic program that will match my choices in long term goals.  My college choices are not limited to one geographic location but my goal is to play at the highest level possible.
