Personal Statement
Dear Coaches, My name is Ryan Motala, and I am a 6’1 218 lb Graduating Senior who played Defensive End, Full Back, and occasionally Tight End while also playing most Special Teams over the last four years at Oxford High School. I will graduate next spring, in May, 2017. In my senior year I was a starting Varsity player, both offense and defense, and a team Captain. I am a very hard worker and I’m willing to go the extra mile for my teammates and coaches. I currently have A 3.2 GPA and am working very hard this year to bring my grades up, as I know academics is the most important part of being in school. Athletically, my main goal going into the off-season is to become bigger, faster, and stronger in support of my overall goal to become a college athlete. I will continue lifting at school every day, before and after school, with my head coach driving me to become the best athlete I can be. I love the sport of Football and I dream of playing at the college level. I want to attend a school where I can balance football and class work and contribute to the team in whatever way my coaches feel best serves the team (I have progressed through many different positions over my Middle and High School career including DE, FB, TE, OLB, MLB, Tackle, and all special teams). Sports have been a source of motivation for me for as long as I can remember, I was a gymnast starting at age 5 so I am used to practice and the discipline and organization sports brings to my life. I sincerely look forward to hopefully having the opportunity to play College Football, the greatest sport ever. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile!
