Personal Statement
In my high school career, I have been blessed to be surrounded by an amazing culture and winning mentality. I have experienced growth, both athletically and socially, having earned the opportunity to compete at the varsity level in several sports as a freshman and sophomore. These experiences have helped me grow as a student by requiring effective time management while maintaining my goal of a 4.0 through high school. I've learned through sports and academics that I lead by example and set a strong, positive tone for my teammates.
The most important thing in my life is my family. I've been able to build from a strong foundation and, as a leader for my team, I try to bring this sense of family to the locker room. I believe I possess the drive, leadership skills, and character to be an asset on the field, in the locker room, and academically. More than anything, I believe there is no substitute for hard work and I have what it takes to be a strong asset to any program.
