Personal Statement
My name is Alex Heigl and I am a Senior at Lester Prairie High School in Lester Prairie,MN. I am 5'11" and 190lbs. I have been the starting Safety for the last 2 years and have been the starting QB since 1/2 way thru my Freshmen year. I have also started returning kick offs. I have been selected All-Conference my Freshmen, Sophmore and Junior years and have also been voted by my peers as the teams Captain both Junior and Senior seasons. I have also been a member of the Varsity Track and Field squad since my Sophmore year, competing in short sprints. I also have been playing basketball since my Freshmen year and was recently voted by my peers as team Captain for my Senior season.
Academically, I maintain a 3.55 GPA and am interested in studying Sports Administration or Post-Secondary Education in college. I have challenged myself in the classroom to prepare myself for the rigors of college academics and the career that lies beyond after graduation. I want to be part of a competitive program that challenges me to be the best student and team player that I can be. I have always held the dream of one day playing collegiate football and I have worked extremely hard to achieve that goal. I will not stop trying to improve my fundamentals, technique and athleticism and I am willing to do whatever it takes to be successful on and off the field.
