Personal Statement
I have grown up in a blue collar family. My father is in landscape and snow removal. I have spent many nights shoveling snow with him and then going to school and wrestling practice the next day. I started playing football in third grade because that was the year tackle football started in Minnesota. I love being physical on the line and showing the guy across from me that I mean business. I have always been regarded as the hardest working person on the team by my teammates and they always look to me in times of need during a game. I have learned through football that I can take on anybody who is a “better player” than me because they have a division one scholarship and I take them on like anyone else to show them who's boss. My academic goals are to get a 25 on my ACT and keep a GPA above 3.0. I have had to overcome many obstacles one of which, being me coming from a low income household compared to my teammates but that has never stopped if anything it gives me something to prove. I have impressed my coaches every year by how fast I am able to adapt to my environment and listen to my coaches. I put all my trust in my coaches and believe in the process. If you want hear from another voice on how I work and listen I encourage you to call any of the coaches i have listed on my profile. I am grateful for you viewing my profile please click the follow button because there is more to come from Marco Cavallaro.
