Personal Statement
I have been a starter for my varsity football team and varsity basketball team all four years of my high school career. At the beginning of my freshman football season, I injured my arm but overcame this and was soon the starting center. As a sophomore, I started at tackle while also playing some defense, and my team went undefeated in the regular season. During my junior and senior seasons I have played on both sides of the ball. I am big but also fast and agile with good feet. For the last five years, I have attended college football camps to learn fundamental skills and to improve. I not only work out with my team but also with my own trainer working on speed and agility.
I have played football every year since I was in kindergarten. My parents have been my greatest influences in my life. My faith and family are very important to me. Football has taught me to be adaptable. I am rather mild mannered off the field but aggressive on the field. My goal is to graduate from high school as a Mississippi Scholar and play college football while earning a Bachelor's degree in business.
