John Marc O'cain '21 Recruiting Profile

It’s always been a dream of mine to play football at the next level. For the last two years I worked really hard in and out of the classroom to be the best student athlete that I can be. Everything I do is building on tomorrow and the future. It would be a dream come true for me to go to college and play the game that I’ve worked so hard to perfect and hone my skills in Football. 

I started playing the game when I was nine, but compared to my friends I started fairly late. I feel if I would have started any earlier I would have been worn out by now. I have played on many all star and all state tournament teams for the state of Mississippi over the past 4 years. I was invited to join Mississippi’s best players in 13U football 2 years ago to play around the U.S. I had to turn it down do to the financial situation of my family at the time. I hope to go to college and excel in academics and hopefully athletics too. I want to give my family the things that I didn’t necessarily have a kid. This sport has just meant so much to me over the years it has given me an idea of what I want to do with the sport over the next few years.
