Personal Statement
Ever since I was little, I loved going outside and throwing the football and playing 2 on 2 games with my older brothers. I think they are one of the reasons I have grown to love the game. They taught me to be tough because if I was not, they would run all over me. Because I would always play with them, I always felt like I was ahead of everyone else. This made me automatically become a leader. One of my favorite memories so far from football, was when I got called up from the Junior Varsity team to play with the Varsity team. I didn't really get much playing time until the last few games. We made it to the playoffs and the very first drive of the game, the starting quarterback got injured to were he couldn't play on offense anymore. I came in and stepped up big, I led the offense down the field passing the ball and then I handed it off to our running back to get our only two touchdowns of the game. We ended up losing 14-13. Beside football, I have done fairly well with academics having a 3.8 GPA and making the Honor Roll. I feel that if i want to go anywhere for football, I am going to have to do good in school, so i try to pay attention as hard as I can. I hope that all of my had work and training after practice will eventually pay off one day.
