Matt McKay '22 Recruiting Profile

I am 6'4” 315 pound Defensive lineman and Offensive tackle  from Grenada MS. I will graduate in the class of 2022. My current GPA is 3.44. I have played on the Varsity Football team for 2 years starting as a freshman where I was awarded Defensive MVP - JV football while leading Kirk Academy to it's first winning season in over 10 years. As a Sophomore I was voted 1st Team All District Defense by league of District Coaches while leading Kirk to the 1st round of the MAIS State playoffs. As a freshman I competed for the district Varsity Track team in the Shot Put and Discuss events. I was a member of the Kirk Varsity Basketball team as a sophomore. 

With 2 years of High School left to fully develop upon my education and athletic skill set. I am looking for a university where I can get a great education while also competing at the highest level in athletics and academics. I think my best fit would be a DI or DII, I would also consider Junior College as a possibility.
