Personal Statement
I have played organized football since I was 8 years old. The game of football has taught me how to adapt to changes and develop my leadership skills. I also believe that my competitiveness and athletic ability have played a big role. I have always looked for ways to grow and improve. I feel that I have a strong work ethic. Every summer since 2017, I have attended several football camps to improve my knowledge of the game and skill sets. Conditioning is very important to me and as of early 2019, I have been training with a personal trainer, consistently working on improving my strength, speed and agility. The personal training workouts along with my individual ones at home are in addition to the required workouts I do at my high school.
I am an Honor Roll student completing AP and Honor classes. My current GPA is a 4.5. I am currently working on improving my most recent ACT score of 29. By senior year, my goal is to be the best student athlete I can be and earn a scholarship playing the game I love. I know I have the experience, drive, discipline and commitment to excel in the classroom and on the field. I look forward to earning the opportunity to play for a great football program at the next level and receiving an excellent college education.
