I have been interested in sports since I was 4 years old. My dad was a big influential part in me becoming interested in sports. I am blessed to play football and baseball in Vicksburg, MS. I have learned through sports with a competitive mind that it takes believing in the coaches, team, and pushing beyond the limits. There are two times to practice: when you feel like it and when you don't. That ESPECIALLY means practicing on your own, if I first have a winning mind and spirit then my physical body will lined up to win also. My motto is work hard, play hard, look good, play good.
I have always been an honor student and I want high achievements for myself. I will be an optometrist and major in optometry in college. The same skills that I use in sports I will also apply them towards my grades. One obstacle that I had to overcome was being overlooked. Through unity, leadership, and determination I have learn to direct that energy toward working extremely hard and it has benefited my team and myself.
My unique characteristics is that I can play multiple positions for example in football - receiver, DB, running back, quarterback, and safety and in baseball - pitcher, infield, and outfield. I also have the ability to listen and follow the directions as it is given and I never give up.
