I have been playing football in one form or another since I was 6 years old. I have always enjoyed playing football and I have a passion to continue my football career after high school. I have improved immensely as an individual player and if given the opportunity, I will continue to improve and excel at the college level. As a result of playing competitive sports over the years, I have learned to: be disciplined, accept coaching, follow rules, play well (both individually and as a team) and how to be persistent. I have developed an incredible work ethic that all of my coaches, teammates and opponents are aware of and respect. I will not be outworked. Ever.
My junior season football accolades include: All - District, First Team Defensive End and All State, Missouri 6A Football - 2nd Team Defensive End.
In addition to football, I wrestle and run track. I have been voted as team captain of the wrestling team and have been very successful on the mat this season. On the track, I run the 110m and 300m hurdles, and throw discus. Football is the most important sport for me but I am still competitive in these activities because I put my name on it, so I strive to be the absolute best I can be.
I apply my work ethic to school as well. I am enrolled AP classes. I have received academic all-state honors, and I am currently sitting at a 3.6 GPA. I would like to get an engineering degree of some description during my time in college, preferably mechanical engineering.
