The opportunity to play collegiate football and further my education is something that I have dreamed of ever since I started playing flag football in the third grade. I would love to play Division 1 but will also gladly play Division 2 football. I’m very serious about my schoolwork and have a 3.83 GPA so a college education is very important.
I started varsity in 2013 at running back as a sophomore. I rushed for 1149 yards and ten touchdowns, with an average of 5.7 yards per carry. I didn’t have the chance to play both ways as a sophomore but I was looking forward to some more hitting on the defensive side of the ball. Unfortunately, I tore my meniscus just before the 3rd game this year and was out for the remainder of the season. I believe in strength through adversity. I've been working hard in order to have a successful basketball season and to come back stronger than ever for football next year.
I would love for my family and friends that have supported me throughout my career to have the chance to watch me play football at the college level. Football has been my favorite sport from the day that I learned what it was. I used to play football all the time on the carpet with my dad and grandpa and want to continue playing the sport that I love.
