Personal Statement
We are almost towards the end of my senior season (2014) and have a record of 10 wins and 0 losses, and recently been titled the Sea Range Conference Champions and the Section 7AAAA Champions for 2014. We have achieved my goal and will be going back to State again this year, and hopefully going all the way in the State Tournament. I have approached every practice and game with hard work, dedication, and leadership.
During the 2013 football season, I had the opportunity to start at Offensive Tackle for the first Cloquet Football Team to win the Section 7AAAA Championship Game, and participate at State in 26 years. I’ve experienced success from the beginning of 7th grade to the end of our Junior Varsity season, as we were undefeated each year.
I know that I can bring the same winning attitude and work ethic to any program that I play in. I consistently work hard and give it my all, whether it’s on the football field or in the classroom. I have played all positions on the Offensive Line, and the way our offense is set up I currently get to play both Tackle positions throughout games. The switch in Tackle positions depends on if it is a Tight Side Tackle, or Split Side Tackle call. I feel that I can bring my ability to play multiple Offensive Line positions to a program and be a valuable asset and player. I consider myself a role model in the way I demonstrate my work ethic and positive attitude throughout 2 a day practices in the summer and during the season.
I have truly grown in my love for the game, and I am determined to pursue my dream of playing football at the collegiate level. I am looking for a school that has a winning attitude, and knows how to be a winner through strong positive leadership.
In addition to playing football, I am also looking for an academically sound University to gain a higher level of education, broaden my horizons and prepare me for life after college. Some of my other extra curricular activities include Concert Choir, Madrigals (Singing Group) and Boxing.
