Personal Statement
My name is Samuel Thurman I am a 6'1" 285 lb starting Varsity Left Tackle for Battle High School (Class of 2015) in Columbia, Missouri and football is my passion.
In high school, I played JV level in my Freshman and Sophomore year. By the middle of my sophomore season, I started playing Varsity for Hickman High School in Columbia Missouri. I have played both defensive nose guard and offensive guard and left tackle. During my junior year at Battle High School, I was the starting Varsity Left Tackle.
My ambition is to play football at the next level. I am a detailed and goal oriented student athlete that is dedicated to succeeding both academically and athletically. I continue to train year round to become faster and stronger.
My goal is to play football at an esteemed College or University, rich with traditions and geared for excellence.
I love every aspect of playing football, from the workouts, to the practices, to the games. I want to be recognized as one of the best offensive lineman in the nation.
