Matt Betzold '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5' 10" 215lb middle linebacker from St. Louis MO. I have played on the Mehlville Senior Highschool Varsity team for three years. I currently have a 2.79 GPA and recently scored a 21 on my ACT's, which I will continue to take and improve upon. I am a memebr of student council and a student math tutor for my school. I have and always will strive for excellence.

I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between my time spent on the field and my time time spent in the classroom. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding reputation in law, and, business. Ideally my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I am as versatile personally as I am athletically. I believe my best fit would be at the DI, through NAIA levels, although I would absolutely consider high academic DIII opportunities.

Personal note: You cant teach HEART.
