Personal Statement

My name is Hunter Sidwell. I am a Junior at Savannah High School, Savannah, MO. I am a 6'6" 250 lbs Offensive Tackle and Defensive End for the Savannah Savages. I have played football since the age of five, and have played at every position on the offensive and defensive line. I have been very dedicated to the sport of football throughout this period of time, attending post season tournaments and camps, since the 6th grade.

I am athletic for my size. I also play basketball for Savannah High School and can dunk a basketball.

I attended FBU Chicago in 2011, as a 7th grader. I was selected for Top Gun camp in Williamsburg, VA. I attended Top Gun, and was selected to play in the Eastbay Youth All-American Bowl, as an 8th grader, where I started at Right Guard. I attended FBU St. Louis in 2012, as an 8th grader, and was highlighted in Youth 1 magazine as a future talent. I was also selected for Top Gun in 2012.

It is my biggest dream to play college football. I lift weights and train everyday at my high school. I am very dedicated to the sport and would provide my team with size and an extremely hard work ethic. It is my number one goal to achieve a great education while playing college football.

This camp will consist of a morning and afternoon session lead by K-State Assistant Coaches along with talks by Wildcat staff.

During this camp we will have offensive and defensive position meetings and workouts. At the end of the camp there will be offensive and defensive competitions. When we are done with everything, Coach Gary Pinkel will wrap up the camp.

This camp is an invite only camp. The Eric Berry Foundation sends five invites to each football team around the area. The Head Coach of the high school then picks the five best players on the team to attend this camp. For this camp, you have to right an essay over what you would do outside of football to be successful. The winner of the best essay along with best performance gets a prize package at the end of camp.
