Hello, my name is Anthony “TJ” LaFaver and it has always been my dream to play college football. I am an extremely self-driven athlete who believes that while talent may take you to the top; it is your character that will keep you there so I strive every day to hold myself to the highest personal standards even when no one is watching.
I am 6'2", 180 pounds. I currently run a 4.7 forty yard dash, a 4.2 pro agility and have a 36" vertical. As a freshman, I was the JV starting QB and team captain. I have been a Varsity starter since my sophomore year when I helped my team earn their first ever State Championship appearance as a DB and second string QB. This summer, my team attended camp at the University of Missouri where I was honored to be named a QB MVP. While I missed four games due to a preseason injury I was able to step back into my role as starting quarterback and captain and help my team finish out the season.
I would like to attend a school within 10 hours of St. Louis where I can succeed both on the football field and in the classroom. My desired major is Athletic Training/Exercise Science. My on-field goal is to redshirt my first year and play my second year. I would prefer a spread or passing- favored offense. Thank you for considering me for your program.
