What makes me a good candidate for your team? To start with, I am very versatile. I have the ability to play on offense, defense, and special teams, being a quick learner of new skills and plays. I am also a motivator and leader for my team. Whether I am on the field, sideline, or classroom, you can find me encouraging my team and classmates, to be the best that they can be. I have been involved with other sports and activities, including the Archery team, my school's Show Choir and currently spend a few hours as a mentor, each Friday, with the 3rd grade class.
My parents taught me that grades and education come first. Without grades, I cannot get into college. Good grades only come from good study habits and setting goals. As of the 2016 fall mid-term, I am carrying a 3.4 GPA. I have been heavily involved with other school activities including Honor Society, Archery, "Extreme" (CCA's show choir) and I have a published piece of art. Outside of school, I had been very involved with my local Boy Scout troop. With scouting, I have learned to life by the 12 points of scouting: Trustworthy, loyal, brave, courteous, kind, helpful, cheerful, clean, thrifty, and reverent. I use these points of scouting not only in scouting, but in daily life. Being a Scout gives me the means to be an effective leader which is needed on and off the football field. But, the most important area for me, is my walk in faith. Without my walk in faith, as well as the support from my family, I could not be where I am today.
